Hello, unknown people from everywhere.
This is a blog made with the intention of making you -curious readers from around the world- feel close to the Argentinian literature that i love so much.
My name is Agustina, i am an Argentinian living in Greece (for the time being). I couldn't learn yet the language, so my life happens in English. Crazy stuff.
Since living away from your roots can make you feel a little bit.....lonely, i thought that maybe, this was a nice way to feel closer. I miss my country, my language, our expressions.
If you ever have the opportunity of traveling to Argentina.....please, don't hesitate. Its an amazing country to visit. Just be careful... it can happen that you fall crazy in love, wanting to live there, fucking up everything behind, who cares.
Or maybe you shouldn't be SO careful, now that i am thinking. Just pay attention to yourself.
Meanwhile, you can read a little about us. Our literature is a radiography of our idiosyncrasy, i really believe that since we are "made of immigrants", our language is a beautiful mix of cultures.....and you have to be faithful to that richness. So i tried to be as honest as possible, so you can get the spirit, the right feeling with my translations. I gave my best, for sure.
